In a post on my blog (www.withoutwarningcoach.com), I refer to it as suffering from Recessionism. It's a point where leaders lose the passion, the inspiration, the relentless desire to win. It has taken its toll. Luckily, small steps can get leaders back on the top of their game.

Steve -- great post and particularly timely as many of us are looking toward the 4th quarter and anticipating what the year-end will bring.

These past months have been a challenge for all us, personally and professionally. But if attitude and commitment have anything to do with our success, I continue to feel good about what our prospects are. Yes, it is still going to be tough, but as long as I can keep going and my business keeps going, I know we'll come out on top of all this.

"As a consultant I'm seeing an increasing amount of decisions made based on emotion, many of them ill-advised."
I'm glad I'm not the only one seeing that behavior. And thank you for ending on a positive note; I think we all need to take a breath, reset, and move forward with purpose.
